What is this plant based protein?
Plant based protein has been around for awhile but has been increasing in consumption. It is actually from a plant that mimics hamburger and even dairy. The food is derived from plant sources such as fruit, vegetables, grains, legumes,nuts and soy.
Plant based foods have no animal or artificial ingredients. They are low in saturated fat, cholesterol free, and rich in fiber,vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Sounds very healthy!
So just having a salad with nuts and fruit is a healthy meal without meat. Myself, I’m unsure if I could cut out all meat. I still love my taco Tuesday’s!
By eating more plant based foods it will be great for your health and your waistline!
